The first coaster pager in the world was invented in 1993 by Long Range Systems. Since that time the Coaster Call customer or guest pager has been a dramatic and incredible success for LRS. This new CS8 alpha text unit is a derivative of the original Coaster Call and includes an alphanumeric TEXT display so you can text customers as well as recall them. There are many new features of this recently released unit. Coaster Call pagers are the most robust customer and guest pagers in the industry.

Features and Benefits

The brand new 2025 Alpha multi-coloured coaster call display is colour LCD. We have a rubber bumper around the pager to protect the device if dropped. The unit can be reprogrammed on site easily. The pager will stack any way around on its charger base (in fact the only brand in the world that does so). Available in multi coloured this pager adds new ways to communicate with customers. We use a Li-ion battery that is lasts for years and the pager will operate for up to 48 hours from just one charge. The unit can flash or vibrate. Tracking ability built right in to the unit, which continues until returned. There's a heartbeat light to confirm the pager is operational. This unit operates at 459.100Mhz in the UK. The pager can display almost ANY colour to customers, guests or patients and with this new form of communication this pager is way ahead and the most advanced customer pager available today.

Text paging to a coaster pager is one of the best on-site solutions that is suitable for so many business sectors. For example in warehousing and logistics (where we have sold huge numbers) these CS8 text colour pagers are perfect for notifying drivers when the bay is ready for loading or unloading. Simply send a message to the driver and he will go to the correct bay. It's much quicker than walking around the site trying to locate the vehicle. And the multi-coloured messaging can even be used to give other messages just from a simple push of a button. Red = wait, Amber = get ready, Green = collect goods or services now!

Alternatively, for restaurants, pubs and bars, the CS8 with text messaging is entirely specific in the message sent to customers when it's time to recall them. The slightly older CS6 is our budget restaurant pager made without compromising the quality in any way, but it only has a 'red' flashing colour.
